This is my first time. I've never blogged before. I am because my good friend Pink Julep recommended it. She's fab...and speaking of the day after Valentine...has fallen in love with an Irish man and is getting married this summer! She always said that she and I would be the last one married of our half dozen of close friends from high school and she was right. Actually she was just giving me a hard time about being engaged last Valentines! I am a newlywed myself. Just married to a wonderful man. He's tall, dark, handsome, a hard worker, and has a fabulous doggie named Otto. He and I dated 3 years before marrying in November when I moved to Charleston SC. I'm originally from Kentucky hense the Blue in my name. I couldn't be a bigger UK basketball fan. I don't know what they do to us in the state of Kentucky when we are children, but I believe that they insert genes into us that make the majority of us live and breath Wildcat Basketball. I am able to follow my games here in the deep south. I love Charleston...the climate is wonderful, the city beautiful, and the food is great too. I do miss my family back in the KY and my friends. You have to love technology for the infinate ways of communicating with people anywhere. I always thought I truly belonged in the 50's....the fun cars and music and simple times with drive-ins and ice cream always appealed to me. However...today's technology has allowed me to connect with my friends from everywhere so easily...and thank God for this day and time, Bill Gates, google, and 7 yr old genius kids! Until next time.
